Waupun Historical Newspapers Online
A portion of our newspapers have been digitized and are available for viewing online through the Archive of Wisconsin Newspapers on Badgerlink.  Once there, select “Newspapers” under “Format”.  Then, click on the link for the Archive of Wisconsin Newspapers.  Click on the words “Search Historical Newspapers”.  You can select Waupun Times and search newspaper articles from 1857~1883.  We are working to convert all of our newspapers to digital format.

Waupun Historical Society Files
The Waupun Historical Society has digitized thousands of Waupun-area newspapers and other documents.  Articles and photos can be searched by keyword here.

Waupun Correctional Institution Prisoner Records
Unfortunately, we have no prisoner records here.  We do have some historical information on Wisconsin State Prison/Waupun Correctional Institution and some editions of past newspapers written by prisoners.  Some records are also held at the Wisconsin Historical Society.  To inquire about these records, please email or call the Reference Archivist at 608-264-6460.
